If your camper wants to dive deeper into a specific elective then signing up for one of our special experiences is the right choice. Campers focus on one particular area of camp, advance their skills and they still get to have the sleep-away experience. Horseback Riding Camp

Riding camp friends are friends forever at Camp Sloane YMCA! The Riding Experience is the most fun-filled English riding experience camp can provide! The riding campers get to know each other, and our horses, very well during the double-period riding session each morning. There will be special evening programs and an overnight in the barn as well. The instruction delivered by our certified instructors will include detailed development of the campers’ riding ability as well as an introduction to barn and horse management, horse physiology and health. PLEASE BE AWARE - Campers will devote most of their time to this experience and may only get the chance to do one other elective activity of their choice.
