We offer four, 2-week sessions and one, 1-week option, as well as a few different 2-week specialty programs - Waterski Camp, Performing Arts Camp, and Horseback Riding Camp. For rising 11th graders, we offer our LEAD program, the first step to becoming a counselor at Sloane!

Not Your Average Day

Every day at Camp Sloane is a day for making new friends, building confidence, and being inspired to try new things. Your camper will have a sense of belonging, live with integrity and learn skills that they can use during the year at school and for the rest of their life. See below for a typical camp day.

7:15 AM
Wake-up, wash-up, get dressed, begin tent clean-up
Your counselors will wake you up with a cheerful 'good morning!' as the song of the day starts to play in the Village. You'll get ready for the day, brush your teeth and choose your outfit before starting another awesome day at Sloane!
8:00 AM
Flag raising and announcements
We come together in the morning to raise the flag. Each tent group has the opportunity to do this throughout the session. Flag is a chance for the entire camp to gather, listen to announcements and be a little silly together.

Breakfast
Sit with your tent mates and enjoy a hearty breakfast to kick-start your day, with a wide range of choices, ranging from cereal, bagels and something different at the hot bar every day!
9:00 AM
Return to Village to finish tent clean-up
Each camper lives in a tent with 5-7 bunkmates and 1-2 counselors. After breakfast, you'll all head back to your Village to make your beds and gather up what you need for the morning... don't forget to put on sunscreen, fill up your water bottle and grab your face mask!

Activity options range from tie-dye to zipline to yoga classes!

Eventide
Each day, Valley and Hill camps get together separately and a staff member gives a short, inspiring speech on a particular topic or theme. Make sure you listen for the number, animal and color... what do they mean?!
5:55
Flag lowering and announcements
We all get back together in the afternoon to lower the flag. Villages and tents take it in turns to take on this honor. The entire camp gathers to listen to any afternoon announcements and find out some fun world news or information on the Evening Programs coming up.
6:00
Dinner
At dinner, you'll again sit with your tent group and enjoy your dinner family-style. We can meet the majority of dietary requirements, so let us know at the start of the session if you are vegetarian, vegan, gluten or dairy-free.
7:00
Evening Programs
Your evening programs will vary day-to-day and they are a great chance to spend time with your whole village or just your tent group, have a co-ed with your village counterpart, or even take part in an awesome all-camp activity. You might play capture the flag one night, enjoy the all-camp Square Dance the next, have a shaving cream fight with your friends, or even find yourself up on stage performing in your Village skit on the last night of camp!
9:00-9:45
Vespers and Lights Out, depending on age group
Each night you will spend some time reflecting on your day. Counselors will run a conversation about the highs and lows of the day, and they might read a bedtime story or pick a topic to discuss as a group. It’s a nice chance to wind down after a busy day.
