As schools are closing and we are all doing our best to practice social distancing, we are busy preparing some fun activities and games for you and your campers to join in with at home in these coming weeks. We will be posting more info soon - keep an eye on your emails and on our social media!

As you are all aware, the COVID-19 virus is having a massive effect on all our lives. We want to share some information about the status of camp in relation to the coronavirus situation.

As of right now, we are planning on camp running as normal this summer. We will continue to monitor the situation and we will be following the recommendations of the American Camp Association, YMCA of the USA and those of our state and federal government agencies. We are also looking at our camp cleaning procedures and practices to make sure that we are maintaining the most sanitary environment possible.

Our plan is to stay in contact with you on a regular basis as we learn any new information. We will email you as we have further information, updates will appear on this page and also through our social media (Facebook, Instagram).

Please note that we are all working from home starting Monday, March 16. From Monday through Friday, the phone will roll over to one of our home phones between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. each day. So, if you have questions or need info, please give us a call. You can always chat with us via JivoChat on the website too (it pops up when you go to our site). We all have access to our emails and to CampMinder. So, we are still open for business and can take registrations.

Stay safe out there, wash your hands and if you are all home due to the coronavirus situation, have the kids teach you all the camp songs they know (pro-tip: steer clear of 'Little Red Wagon' song, particularly if you live in an apartment or condo where you share walls and floors/ceilings with other families. Trust us on this, it gets loud).

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch, either via the Jivo chat on our website, by phone at 860-435-2557 or by emailing info@campsloane.org
