MORE THAN A DAY CARE - IT'S DAY CAMP!
Camp Sloane focuses on the individual child as part of a small group, supervised
by positive role models. The program and outdoor experience offers much
more than day care or a summer recreation program. Small group
activities are typical and frequent each day, Monday--Friday.
Individual activity choices are available to older day campers. Located
on the 270-acre site of the resident camp, all of the facilities and
resources are available to day campers, including Sloane's staff,
horseback riding, cookouts, overnights and more.
The start of a day program at Camp Sloane in 1990 for elementary
school-aged boys and girls made the magic of this special place
available to those living in the local, tri-state area or vacationing
summers in Connecticut’s northwest corner.
